Ready to try UserOS Home Server? Use ISOtorch.
The most common problem we get from readers using our UserOS operating systems is not being able to burn the ISO image to disc properly.
That’s great – because it’s easily fixed.
When burning an ISO image, you can’t use the normal “burn data disc” option in your burning software. You have to use an option that allows specific burning of an ISO image to disc.
If your burning tool won’t do that, have a crack at ISOtorch – this is a brand-new free tool I’ve written specifically for this task.
Simply copy the ISO image of UserOS Home Server off the cover disc and onto your hard drive somewhere, load in the location of your ISO image, load a blank disc of appropriate size into your CD/DVD burner and press the Burn Disc button. ISOtorch will do the rest.
When it spits out the disc, you’ll have a bootable LiveCD or LiveDVD of your UserOS operating system, which you then load into your computer and either try out or install.
You can download ISOtorch here.
