January 2010 issue of Australian PC User – YouGrab 2 Build 44 update
If you have the January 2010 issue of Australian PC User magazine and you’re having trouble getting the YouGrab 2 software to work, make sure you grab the latest update from the PC User website. Changes to the YouTube website broke the original version on the cover disc so you need to grab the latest update (Build 44) from the PC User website.
Detailed instructions on how to get the update are on page 66 of that issue.
The latest version includes support for new 1080p video clips too.

We’ve been busy over the last couple of months putting the finishing touches to our latest Linux operating system, UserOS Ultra 9.10. It’s been a long time coming but we’re finally happy with the way that this Ubuntu-based operating system has come up.

Using YouGrab 2 on Windows Vista or Windows 7? Run as Administrator

This is just a really quick tip.
If you’re having trouble getting our YouGrab 2 YouTube/Vimeo download manager working (ie. you get “error -1″ code), you need to run it in administrator mode – that’s because it needs to create a standard HTTP web link and Windows gets a bit thingy about software doing that.

yep tiny urls answers on actually how to find them have been posted in PCUser mag a million times, but for me they just dont work…..yet once out of 30 searches, once I found the you grab update…now alas I need it again
Please post the update on your website darren
I love all the ‘in-house’ programs PCUser makes….takes a bit to learn but once you do, they do everything

Maybe the update could be included on the mag DVD. I can’t find anything on the Feb or March discs.
I’ve been buying this great mag for years.
