Run Android 2.2 on your Windows PC
If you’ve not tried out Google’s Android operating system and you’re interested in giving it a shot, you can actually try it out on your PC.
And what’s more, you don’t need a new computer either. Using what’s known as “virtualisation”, you can run Android 2.2 right on your Windows PC as if it were just another piece of software.
All you need is a virtualisation tool such as VMware Player and the latest Android 2.2 release ported to Intel x86 CPU architecture.
To make it easier, we’ve included everything you need on the cover disc of the latest issue of PC User magazine.
The April 2011 issue of PC User is out now at all good newsagents.
