Share external drives with UserOS Home Server 11.04 – PC User January 2012
If there was one thing readers all clamoured for as a feature request in PC User’s UserOS Home Server 11.04 operating system, it was to be able to share external drives.
Well, it wasn’t easy but we’ve done it. In the January 2012 issue of PC User out next Wednesday, you’ll get details about a new app I’ve written called PC User DriveShare Beta.
It’s job? To make it possible to share external drives. Unfortunately, Linux doesn’t make this an easy thing to do even via Terminal let alone via a user interface but we’ve done just that. There’s no need to touch a Terminal box.
You’ll find all the details in my UserOS column in the January 2012 issue of Australian PC User magazine – out Wednesday, December 7.
