Where is the Google Chrome install folder?

chromeLike just about every other app, you expect Google Chrome to install itself in your ‘Programs Files’ folder or ‘Program Files (x86)’ folder if you’re running a 64-bit version of Windows.

Well, you would expect that – except for Google Chrome. It’s not there. If you’re looking for the Google Chrome install folder, for some reason only known to Google, the Chrome browser installs itself in your c:/users/<user>/AppData/Local/Google/ folder path.

So if you’re trying to find it in the usual places, try looking in this most unusual place instead.
